This braided hair is beautiful! I used to make my mom braid a “headband” into my hair when I was young and she still does sometimes when I go visit. I like how chunky this one is and that the rest of her hair is swept up.

Whippy Cake Love
Last year I ordered a headband from Whippy Cake, an online shop that sells the most lovely accessories. The approach is clever in that they sell headbands made of lace, elastic, and metal and then sell the applique separately so that they are all interchangeable. All appliques have velcro and a clip so you can wear them in your hair, as a pin on your clothing, or attached to a headband. I love how over the top they are! Check it out!

Messy Updo
How pretty is this tousled hairstyle? With lots of hairspray I bet it would stay all day/night. I love the addition of the heavy eyeliner, too. Perfect look for a night out! : )
